NodusPlay is built by people who want independent games to reach more players. If you would like to help, here is how. It is voluntary collaboration: it is not a job and there is no open position.
Ways you can help
- Try games and give useful feedback: honest reviews and comments that help the people who made them.
- Bring games to the catalogue: with "Propose a game" you can add the ones you like, always with a link to the creator's official page. It shows on your profile as a "Collaboration" and can earn you the "Collaborator" title.
- Write news, reviews or guides, or talk about NodusPlay on your channel, blog or community.
- Translate the site or its texts into another language.
- Help with moderation. It is a bigger responsibility: you need to be an adult and you start with few permissions.
- Illustration, design or music, if you think you can contribute.
What we offer
- Visibility: your name or your project on your profile and, if you wish, in our news.
- The "Collaborator" titles (bronze, silver, gold and diamond) for bringing games by other authors.
- A voice: ideas are listened to, and we explain why we do one thing and not another.
- No exclusivity: you can keep publishing and collaborating wherever you like.
What you should know
- Today this collaboration is voluntary and unpaid. There is no contract and no schedule, and you can stop whenever you want.
- If we ever pay for some piece of work, it will be agreed separately and in writing.
- You must be at least 14 to use NodusPlay; to moderate, 18.
- Helpers follow the same community rules as everyone else, including the Terms of use and our Principles.
How to start
- Press "I want to help" and tell us in the contact form who you are and how you would like to help. Add a link to something of yours if you have one (a profile, a channel, a review, a game).
- We will reply by email. We do not promise a deadline, because we are a small team.
- If you would rather chat with the community and the team, we have a Discord server.
- What you tell us is used only to reply to you. See the privacy policy to learn how it is stored, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
